At the end of the 1st Half 2020 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 7,224.09 points, decreased by 1,597.67 points 18.11% over the same period of the previous year. Highest close level for the index during the period was 8,474.81 point on 14/01/2020.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of the 1st Half 2020 reached SAR 8,233.15 billion (US$ 2,195.51 billion), increasing by 295.62% over the same period of the previous year.
The total value of shares traded during the 1st Half 2020 reached SAR 825.20 billion (US$ 220.05 billion), increasing by 87.99% over the same period of the previous year.
The total number of volume traded* reached 28.77 billion shares during the 1st Half 2020 compared to 17.14 billion shares traded during the 1st Half 2019, an increase of 67.91%.
The total number of transactions executed during the 1st Half 2020 reached 25.62 million compared to 13.25 million trades during the 1st Half 2019, an increase of 93.40%.
