Shanghai Futures Exchange: Notice On Trading System Switch Testing

It is decided by SHFE that the main trading system will be switched to Zhangjiang Data Center. To complete the smooth switch, the Exchange will conduct two across-the-market test drills on January 13 and 27, 2018, respectively, and now therefore announce the relevant issues as follows:

I. As the first drill, this test will be held on January 13,2018. It will adopt the closed trading data of the continuous trading at 2:30 PM on January 13, 2018, including contract prices, open positions, hedging limits and client data, for the purpose of simulating the trading of the first session on January 15,2018 and relevant contingency process. The test schedule is as follows:

1. 08:55 - 9:00: Aggregate auction and matching through the main trading system located at Zhangjiang;

2. 09:00 - 11:00:  Normal trading through the main trading system located at Zhangjiang;

3. 11:00 - 11:15:  Main trading system switched from Zhangjiang to Futures Tower;

4. 11:15 - 11:30:  Normal trading through the main trading system located at Futures Tower;

5. 11:30:        End of the testing.

2. All entities shall attach great importance to this drill and make all their remote trading seats and market data vendors participate in it so as to well conduct the testing job.

3. To ensure the correct configuration, relevant technicians of each entity shall configure and verify their systems as per the following technological requirements. Contact the Operation Department of SHFE without delay in case of any problem during the process.

(1) For the safety control strategy of each unit, the TCP port 4901, 4911, 4903, 4913, 33005, 44305, 33011 and 44311 on network segment 192.168.11.X, 192.168.12.X and 192.168.16.X as well as the TCP port 80, 443 and 7002 on network segment 192.168.9.X, 192.168.13.X and 192.168.17.X shall be made accessible.

(2) All entities shall use the FENS mechanism in their trading system to acquire the IP addresses for the trading and data front-end processors from SHFE. SHFE’s FENS server IP addresses: 192.168.11.31,192.168.11.32,192.168.12.41,192.168.12.42,192.168.16.31 and 192.168.16.32.

(3) TCP port and SSL port of FENS server for trading front-end processor addresses: 4901 and 4911; TCP port and SSL port of FENS server for data front-end processor addresses: 4903 and 4913.

4. Upon receipt of this notice, all entities shall complete Confirmation Form on Participation in Shanghai Futures Exchange Trading System Testing (Appendix 1 attached hereof) and send its electronic edition together with the scanning copy affixed with the official seal to the e-mail address of the Operation Department of SHFE prior to 12:00 on January 10, 2018.

5. All entities shall back up the production system and data prior to the testing, and contact the Operation Department without delay in case of any problem during the process to ensure the smooth operation of the testing. Upon the completion of the testing, all entities shall also recover and verify the production system and data to prevent any adverse impact on the normal operation of the production system.

 

6. After participating in the testing, all entities shall complete Feedback Form on the First Shanghai Futures Exchange Trading System Testing (Appendix 2 attached hereof), and send it in the file name of “Member Abbreviation + Member No.” via e-mail to the Operation Department of SHFE prior to 14:00 on the same day when the test is completed.
